Metro Tickets: Google Maps has launched a new facility for metro rail passengers in India. Kochi and Chennai metro passengers will benefit from this new facility of Google Maps.
Actually, people of these two cities of India can now book metro train tickets through Google Maps. This is a facility that will make the travel of users even easier and convenient.
New way to buy metro tickets
Let us tell you that till now passengers of Chennai and Kochi had to go to the metro station to get metro tickets, but now people will be able to book metro tickets from home with the help of Google Maps app as soon as they plan their journey. This facility is similar to the one offered by Paytm for buying Delhi Metro tickets.
Till now, passengers of Kochi and Chennai Metro had to come to the metro station and stand in long queues to buy tickets, but now this will not happen. Now people will be able to avoid crowded queues and also save their time.
To launch this facility, Google Maps has partnered with Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) and Namma Yatri App. Namma Yatri App will complete the ticket booking and payment process.
How to book tickets from Google Maps?
step 1: First of all you have to open Google Maps.
Step 2: After that you will have to choose the metro option of your city.
Step 3: Now a new option for booking tickets will appear, you have to select it.
Step 4: After that you will have to enter your journey details, such as departure station, destination station and number of passengers.
Step 5: After that, payment will have to be made.
After completing this process, your metro ticket will be booked and you will be able to travel directly in the metro train without standing in any line.
